Varna Clayshooting Grounds - Things to do in Clare

Varna Clayshooting Grounds is located in lisdoonvarna, Co Clare, catering for men and women, young and old and we are first and formal a club that will take in complete beginners and train them in a safe, friendly and controlled environment, with top of the range equipment. This is a fantastic activity and day out for all types of groups: it will certainly bring the competitive side out on you. Whether you have never held a gun or you are a very experienced gunshooter, our expert instructor team will give you a very thrilling, challenging, and satisfying outing on our shooting range.

If you would like to join the club and for a yearly membership it will only cost you €100, which will entitle you to a cheaper rate off shooting and also help you on way to owning your own gun and will also allow you to compete in competitions. The club insurance will also cover you for any country sport inside and outside of the grounds. The view from the range is out of this world and you will never see anything as calming and beautiful apart from the experience and the thrill of the clay shooting sport. With a great safety and friendly fun atmosphere we will cater for small groups right up to the big group bookings.

Clay shooting and archery are on offer for group bookings, not just for club members but also available for hens, stags, commercial and corporate events. Clayshooting experience, a fantastic day out for all groups and individuals

We aim to entertain you as an individual or all types of groups looking for a fun and entertaining day with a variety of targets from different stands and to teach you the basic skills required for this very entertaining and challenging sport. Clay Shooting is a very thrilling experience, where you need a calm concentration, and a keen eye with quick reactions, and a sturdy composer. Get your aim right, your timing right and you will be soon notching up your hits. These are not real birds and no real birds get hurt, just a great sport for all, young and old, men and women alike.

We cater for all groups, families and individuals including

• Tourists

• Hen Parties

• Stag Parties

• Commercial and Corporate Events

• Team Building Events

A fun day at clay shooting grounds in Lisdoonvarna, where a great day out is guaranteed for all and also the fun offer of medals for 1st 2nd 3rd place for larger groups. Price of a box of ammunition which is 25 cartridges costs €40 per person, or 2 boxes of ammunition for €60 per person.
