Hi. My name is Katriona Shanahan, welcome to Blazing Bikers.

Blazing Bikers is a father and daughter team, myself Katriona and my father Billy Shanahan who along with the help and support of our family and some very good friends have for the last 20 years organised and participated in Cycling and Motorbike events in aid of the National Council for the Blind of Ireland along with other charities for the Blind, including the Irish Guidedogs, Fighting Blindness & the Deafblind Ireland. €707,000 has been raised over the last 20 years in aid of all these Charities.

UK SOUTHWEST - Charity Challenge 2015

We are currently preparing for the Blazing Bikers 8th Annual Motor Bike Challenge which is a one thousand mile charity challenge covering 1000 miles over 4 days from Friday 2nd to Monday 5th 2015

UK SOUTHWEST - Charity Challenge 2014

- In aid of the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind

This years challenge covers the following areas:

Forest Of Dean - Bath - Dartmoor -Cheddar George -Bristol - Beacons -Jurassic Coast - Cornwall - Landsend - Somerset - Devon - Cotswolds - Exmoor - Salisbury - Cornish Pirates And Pasties!

On the challenge you will experience the beautiful Cornish coastline and gently rolling Sommerset hills in the shadow of Stonehenge.

Miles and miles of Southwest countryside make this the perfect landscape for bikers and pillions who want to ride the breeze.

Cost- €595 per biker per person sharing, €395 per person pillion sharing.

Products & services

Cost includes: Ferry crossing and 3 nights B&B, 3 evening meals, including Gala dinner. itinerary booklet, certificate of completion, souvenir shirt and badge.

The can be raised through sponsorship or by personal donation.

A deposit of €300 non - refundable will secure your place

Deposit due on or before Fri. 7th March 2014. Final payment due on or before Fri. 11th April 2014
