Over the last decade this problem has become more prevalent in all properties, many factors play a part in determining why your property suffers from condensation and in some cases associated fungal growth and odours.
The key is experience and the use of specific digital meters which allows us to make an accurate assessment in your property and t his in turn offers you the best option to insure your home or rental property is free from these problems now and in the future.

string(891) "Rising Damp Treatment
A silicone emulsion cream is injected into the mortar course of the masonry. From here it migrates rapidly into the masonry pores where the injection cream reverts to a liquid phase and polysiloxanes are formed in situ.
During the curing period a low molecular-weight silane vapour is also produced giving excellent migration through the wall structure, carrying out this process by way of injecting into the mortar joints at close centres this will ensure that an adequate volume of the chemical is delivered in order to give a continuous barrier against further rising damp.
This form of treatment is ideally suited for red bricked properties or properties with a continuous mortar joint.

string(1021) "Electro Osmosis System
This system will provide an excellent solution to damp proofing in all types of building structures. The introduction of a small but safe electric current into the wall just above ground level through a series of titanium anodes inserted into the masonry.
Its effect is to repel the rising moisture molecules down the walls and back into the ground. As long as this positive charge is maintained, the protected walls remain dry and totally free of damp. A series of small holes are drilled in the masonry just above ground level, and tiny anodes inserted, linked by a special connecting wire which is 'pointed' into the wall
The finished result is invisible. Electro Osmosis permanently guards against the dangers of rising damp and protects buildings of any age or structure.

string(787) "Wood Boring Insects (woodworm)
The name woodworm is the commonly used generic term for a number of species of wood boring insect’s.
These lay their eggs on or in timber and their larvae feed upon and bore through the wood leaving a network of tunnels, thus damaging and weakening the integrity of the timber, if the infestation is not treated due to the migratory nature of the this beetle they may travel to other areas of your home.
This is a problem present in a lots of homes through the country, different spices of beetle favour different conditions, the rule of thumb is if the timbers in your home are untreated and /or you have a damp problem the chances are at some stage will suffer from a wood boring insect attack.

string(761) "Identifying Wood Boring Insects
Damage by this beetle is identifiable by a peppering of tiny holes in the surface of the wood. These holes are in fact emergence holes, meaning that the adult beetle has emerged from and left the timber after spending its time tunnelling through it as a grub.
It attacks timber leaving 1-2mm exit holes. The beetle lays its eggs on the timber and the grubs do the damage. With ‘active’ woodworm you will find a scattering of tiny dust piles on the timber.
This dust is called ‘frass’ ,if you have any questions or you think you have located an active infestation please no not hesitate to give us a call to discuss your options and to arrange a survey of your home.

string(798) "Dry Rot
The true Dry Rot fungus is the more serious of the wood destroying fungi. It causes extensive damage to structural timbers if not treated in time. It will spread undetected behind wall plaster and even through thick walls in search of timber to attack.
Timber affected by dry rot is brown, dry and brittle with cube shaped (cuboidal) fractures and can be crumbled by hand. The fruiting body (or fungus/mushroom growth) gives off millions of spores which resembles red dust and is often mistaken for brick dust.
Of all of the fungal attacks this should not be put on the longs finger, it will continue to spread from floor to floor and room to room destroying all timber in it's wake Call us today for Advice, Surveys & Quotations.

I would like to confirm that the solution that you fitted in Parkgate Place in October 2014 has been a huge success. The improvement was dramatic and significant. After 4 months since the initial installation the system has proved that it works perfectly.
I would recommend your product to others.

Allied Damp Solutions has done a couple of jobs for me, the first being in early 2008
Allied Damp Solutions injected damp proofing materials and treated timbers on a house I was working on.
I chose him for the project because he's very professional in his work and manner and he gave a good account of where his experience came from.
He's the professional and that's what you rely on. As a builder overseeing the whole job, I've got my own situation to manage.
I mainly left the damp proofing decisions to them. I trusted that the job would be done right. That's the kind of confidence you get when you bring someone like Allied Damp Solutions in.
With Allied Damp it's 100% reliability. Let me put it this way, when he says he's going to be here, he's here.
