Dear Nenagh Merchant,
We are encouraging everyone to participate in the Christmas window competition as this is a great way to showcase our lovely town.The format is very simple we all do our windows with an extra consideration for Christmas. We then encourage our customers and friends to vote for the window they like the best. This will have the benefit of people actively looking at our windows. Attached please find ballot papers if everyone could print out a few copies and leave them on the counters this would be a great help.
We have organised 3 independent judges to adjudicate and Careys Glass has kindly agreed to donate a plaque to the winning window and the customers who correctly guess the winning window will be entered in a draw to win €250 also kindly donated by Carey's Glass .Judging will take place week 13th to the 20th with presentation of prize on Tue 22nd Dec.
If everyone could tell their neighbours/ businesses close to them about this, especially those which aren't on email. Also If you could promote your windows on facebook/Twitter to raise awareness,this would be wonderfull.
I realise this is late notice but we were late starting this year .Hopefully next year we will start earlier!!
