Welcome to Halal Food Market. My name is Muhammud Ashraf and I am the proud owner of “The Halal food Market” based here in Waterford City.

I opened the Waterford store this year but I have been servicing the southeast with Halal meats and food products for a number of years now, with another of our long running successful stores located in Kilkenny city.

We stock a wide range of Turkish / Arabic/ South Indian /African and Pakistani food products. We pride ourselves on offering the freshest quality cuts of Halal certified meats and food products at the very best prices. We offer a full line of Halal meat including Beef, Chicken, Lamb and Frozen Fish. We source all our meat locally to guarantee the best quality and freshness.

We offer a full line of Caribbean products - Beans, Chowmein, Crackers, Curry Powder, Jerk Seasoning, Pepper Sauce, Rice, and Sodas.We also stock a wide variety of Spices, Fresh Asian Vegetables, Frozen and Tinned Foods and also Authentic Confectionary.

As the owner of Halal Food Market, I feel strongly that our Halal consumers should be knowledgeable and comfortable with the explanation of our Halal slaughter practices.
