Building masonry - Building masonry is a service that we provide using stones, brick, concrete blocks and paving slabs layed together using mortar, some types of stone can also be layed without mortar, this is called dry stone. Hennessy masonry can do all your Stone, brick, block and paving work which include garden walls, retaining walls, exstensions, houses, garages, patios, driveways etc.
The stones that are usually used for masonry construction are natural rocks. These natural rocks are cut and dressed into proper shape in order to use it in masonry construction. Stones are one of the most durable and strong building materials. Blocks can also come in different sizes and there is a finish block and a rough block, they can be pointed or rendered the choice is up to you. There are also different types of brick that have different colour, you also have different types of paving slabs, which come in different sizes and colours. No matter the masonry work that's needed done, rest assured that hennessy masonry will give you a top quality finish.
Concrete works - Concrete is the most commonly used man-made material on earth. It is an exstremely important construction material that we use on alot of the building works we provide - foundations, footpaths, driveways, fencing posts, kerbs, concrete floors. Its used for so many different construction works including structural applications, to paviours, kerbs, pipes and drains. Concrete is a composite material, consisting mainly of Portland cement, water and aggregate (gravel, sand or rock). When these materials are mixed together, they form a workable paste which then gradually hardens over time.
Imprinted concrete - We provide this service by pouring concrete on a sub-base, then we add colour followed by a hardener. This is unlike traditional concreting, which typically involves just using concrete to create your finish. Once the concrete is wet, this is when the pattern is applied. You can choose from many types of prints, the most common ones are brickwork and stone. We specialise in london cobble stone imprinted concrete. Patterned concrete is a popular choice for many home owners, specifically lining driveways as they add curb appeal to your property. Whatever design you would like added to your imprinted concrete, hennessy masonry can make it stand out, by giving it a beautiful tidy finish which will last for many years with little to no maintenance.
