Hi. Welcome to J&S Tree Maintenance. We are a family run business located in Riverstown County Tipperary with over 20-years experience in all aspects of tree maintenance, gardening and exterior cleaning. We take pride in our work and make sure our customers are always 100-percent happy before we leave the job. We cover all the areas of County Tipperary aswel as surrounding counties.

Tree topped - Tree topping is the practice we use of removing whole tops of trees or large branches and/or trunks from the tops of trees, leaving stubs or lateral branches that are too small to assume the role of a terminal leader. Other common names for the practice include hat-racking, heading, rounding over, and tipping.

Tree pruning - By having your trees pruned is excellent for your plants health, we will focus on removing dead, dying and diseased branches, branches that rub together, and any branch stubs so that the entire tree continues to grow in a healthy way. It will also allow light and air to filter throughout the entire tree, this creates increased foliage while decreasing the risk of disease to your plants.

Here at J&S Tree Maintenance we will prune your trees to not just look better to the eye, but also to create a strong tree that's ultimately able to withstand winter storms and high winds.

Tree felling - Tree Felling is the process we use of cutting down trees, an element of the task of logging. A feller buncher is a machine capable of felling a single large tree or grouping and felling several small ones simultaneously.

Hedge trimming & shaping - Ideally you should have your hedges trimmed & shaped from beginning of May till late september, they should be cut every 5 to 6 weeks between these months, more often sometimes depending on the hedge has to be trimmed. Need your hedge cut right or other garden maintenance done, look no further, J&S Tree Maintenance can do it all, giving you a top quality finish each and everytime.

Overgrown gardens restored - If your garden has been neglected for a long time, having it cleared out the obvious weeds etc will provide a better idea of the garden’s potential, we can then work on getting your garden back to how it looked before it went so out of hand.

As opposed to seeded grasses, instant lawns take only about three to four weeks to root properly and can be done at any time of the year. Its instantly mature and manicured appearance gives you the satisfaction of having a neat appearance without all the maintenance you have with a normal grass lawn.

Garden tidyups - It is very important to keep your property very clean and looking at its best, as the garden and outside of your home is the first place people see when visiting your home.
