An Bosca Capall - Portable Bar Laois: An Bosca Capall is a converted Rice horsebox, and we are based in Co. Laois. We can cater for events such as weddings, birthdays, special occassion's and parties, and we can serve any drinks of your choice along with strawberries and melted chocolate.

Garry had a vision for something different for a celebration and hence “ An Bosca Capall” was born! In 2018 he sourced a Rice Horsebox and began the transformation and he completely transformed the interior with sleek finishing touches, such as a bespoke counter top bar and shelving, and then it was tastefully decorated with stainless steel shelves that holds flowers.

The next step was to install the actual bar equipment, which included two beer taps one for Guinness and the other for a larger or ale of your choice.

Being based in the heart of the midlands, An Bosca Capall can operate in any county and is the perfect backdrop to any event.

We believe that our fully equipped, tastefully designed vintage horse box will give your guests the “WOW” factor ensuring you have an event that will be talked about and remembered for a long time.

The costs for dry hire include set up and training on the equipment, the taps are suitable for Guinness and one larger or ale of your choice.

There is a €150 refundable deposit required in the event of any damages to the box or equipment

There is also a surcharge for events 50km or more outside of Abbeyleix @ €0.70c per Km round trip.

Our Packages.

Prosecco Package.

This package consists of us arriving at your venue one hour before you and your guests arrival time to ensure trailer is set up, uniformed staff will serve 150 glasses of chilled prosecco with strawberries.

The price of this package starts at €750.00.

Gin Package.

This package consists of us arriving at your venue one hour before you and your guests arrival time to ensure trailer is set up, uniformed staff will serve 150 glasses of Gin and a selection of Tonic Waters including a selection of condiments to complement your drink.

The price of this package starts at €1,150.00.

Dry Hire only Terms and Conditions of Dry Hire Dry Bar Package.

We find this package works quite well with a lot of our clients as we provide the trailer and uniformed staff and the customer then supplies their own drinks, mixers, glasses and condiments and then also has control over how many drinks they wish to serve to their guests.

All drink that is left over is returned to the customer.

The price of this package starts at €450.00.
