Hi! My name is Tracy, I am a busy Mom of three who is extremely passionate about all things holistic and natural. I provide Holistic Therapies, Reflexology and Massage treatments to help the body's natural healing ability. I offer Reflexology treatments for all ages, Holistic Back Massage, Indian Head Massage and Aromatouch. I am based in Monivea, County Galway.

I have a passion for helping people and have experience treating Adults & Children with aliments both emotionally and physically, while also promoting relaxation and relieving stress. I have been practicing since 2020 when I graduated from the amazing MF Wellness School of Reflexology in Loughrea and have since then added a few other treatments.

A brief history - Because reflexology is an ancient practice, its origin and history are difficult to track, however it is thought to have been passed down through tradition and was first recorded as a pictograph on the Egyptian tomb of Ankhamor in 2330 BC, by the Native American tribes in the 17th century, Asia has used and developed alternative therapies for thousands of years with medical writings from around 5000 BC noting the effect of pressure point techniques, Chinese physicians taught Reflexology and similar therapies such as Acupuncture and Shiatsu to Buddhist monks travelling from China to India allowing the knowledge to spread and filter into Europe through travellers and scholars.

Reflexology as we know it today evolved from the work of Eunice Ingham, an American physiotherapist, building on the previous work by Dr William Fitzgerald and Dr Joe Riley. Eunice Ingham is accredited with pioneering the use of reflex techniques on the hands and feet, she retired from lecturing and travelling at the age of 82, she passed away in 1974 but her work was continued by her Nephew , Dwight Byers, who established the International Institute of Reflexology.

Reflexology - 1 hour €55 - Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet and hands, which can help facilitate healing on all levels, treating body mind and spirit. It is a safe and natural treatment which can calm, uplift and revitalise you. On a physical level Reflexology helps to balance every system on the body. On a psychological and spiritual level it is a wonderful treatment for relief from stress and tension.

Like other holistic therapies it is complement to medical treatments and can be done alongside traditional care, but it is not an alternative to it, and Reflexology doesn't diagnose or treat illnesses. Reflexology can help bring the body back into homeostasis.

Hand Reflexology - 1 hour €50 - Hand Reflexology is a simple natural non - invasive method of applying gentle pressure to all the surfaces of the hands using your fingers and thumbs. In Reflexology we believe our hands are a mirror image or mini map of the body.

The benefits of Hand Reflexology are exactly the same as Foot Reflexology and can be a wonderful treatment for those for who some reason can't have foot Reflexology such as injury or surgery or just perhaps don't like their feet touched.

Baby/Toddler Reflexology - 45 mins €30 - This is a wonderful treatment for children, it is very relaxing and calming and has many benefits such as helping with wind, colic reflux, constipation, can encourage a better sleep pattern, aid digestion, ease teeting pains, promote health and well-being and calm and soothe.

Indian Head Massage - 1 hour €50 - Indian Head Massage has been practiced for more then 5000 years and the tradition art of Indian Head Massage is based on the ancient system of medicine known as Ayurveda.

Indian Head Massage also incorporates the neck, shoulders, upper back and arms. On a physical level this treatment can benefit the lymphatic system, muscular system, tension headaches, hair and scalp, and nasal congestion, it is also an amazing treatment to help relief stress and tension.

Holistic Back Massage - I Hour €50 - The term "Holistic" derives from the ancient Greek word "Holos" meaning "whole" so by definition holistic massage treats the whole person body, mind and spirit. Holistic Massage works on a physical level by improving circulation and lymphatic drainage aid, the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the body's cells whilst at the same time removing physical tension from the muscles, improving flexibility and range of motion and boosting the immune system. It is a relaxing massage which calms the mind and reduces everyday physical and emotional stress on the body.

Aromatouch Massage - 1 hour €60 - Aromatouch technique is a clinical approach to applying essential oils. ATT is not a regular Massage, it is a 60 minute treatment where essential oils are applied along energy lines and Reflexology points which can stimulate homeostasis and balance the body. It helps to improve well-being by reducing physical and emotional/stressor, supports health autonomic function, and balance your body functions. It uses a combination of 8 essential oils from the DoTerra blend, these blends create a sence of grounding, calming and relaxing.
