Hi. My name is Rachel and RM Bakes is my home based bakery Business.

RM Bakes began in 2021, when I left my previous job in another bakery, in order to work my Business around caring for my 2 daughters, Ruth and Maeve (who the business is named after).

Types of cakes. All cakes made fresh to order.

• Celebration cakes.

• Novelty 3D cakes.

• Corporate cakes.

• Cupcakes, standard and personalised.

• General cakes - tarts and teatime treats.

Basically if you want to celebrate it, we can make a cake for it.

What started as a hobby in my kitchen baking for family, quickly turned into a Business needing its own separate HSE registered kitchen built beside my home, to ensure quality for the customer, and allows me the peace and space to create my cakes.

Quality ingredients and good vibes.

I strive to only use good quality ingredients in my cakes and avoid unnecessarily additives, only real butter, whole pasteurised eggs, and natural flavourings are used with the exception of specially ordered vegan cakes, where alternative ingredients are used.

I also believe that the cake absorbs energy from the Baker, good or bad, which results in a delicious or poor tasting cake, so in my bakehouse it is good vibes only, with the good intention and Consideration for my customers individual taste, so your cake is truly created just for you.

Flavours.

The flavour of your individual cake is only limited by your imagination, but our standard flavours for sponge cakes and cupcakes are as follows:

• Vanilla.

• lemon.

• Lemon and blueberry.

• Chocolate.

• Carrot.

• Chocolate orange.

• Coffee.

• Black Forest.

These can be paired with matching or alternative flavoured butter cream or fresh cream with jam/curd.

Chocolate biscuit cake is also an option.

Special baby shark cake for 2 year old . He loved it. Cake was lemon flavour and was beautiful flavour and texture. Decorations were perfect. Everyone from Granny down to baby enjoyed every crumb.
