Hi. We are Jason and Shane the owners of the company SK Stoneworks and Restorations, we are stonemasons and general masons with over 20 years experience in brick, block, stone, paving, heritage works and general construction works. We are based in kilkenny but cover all the southeast areas including kildare, dublin and wicklow.

All aspects of stone work provided - entrances - house fronts - fireplaces - cladding

Heritage works - raking out and repointing - acid wash for efflorescence - working with specialised lime mortar indoors and outdoors.

Paving - brick paving - stone paving - porcelain - kerbing - all types of patios and driveways

Digger works - for entrances - driveways - kerbing - paving - patios - prepping ground for foundations - pouring concrete foundations

Masonry works - all types of stonework - brickwork - blockwork

We have over 20 years of experience in stone masonry, and we would be happy to advise you with our expertise before we commence your project, by taking you through the best types of stone to suit you, and all other materials that are needed before we start the works for you. No matter what stone work you need done, big or small, you can rest assure that you will get a top quality finish from us on every job we complete.

Brick and block work - Just like stonework, brick and block work can be built around the outside and inside of your home. We can build boundary walls, retaining walls, garages, extensions, brick work around your chimney etc. If you are looking for a company to look after all your masonry needs, then Sk Stoneworks and Restorations are the company for you. Paving - Block paving better known as brick paving is a commonly used decorative method of creating a pavement, patio or driveways. The main benefit of using bricks over other materials is that individual bricks can later be lifted up and replaced, but no matter what type of paving you would like done, let us know and we will let you know if we can do it for you.

Heritage construction works - SK Stoneworks and Restorations Provide a wide range of specialist services for both public and private buildings, we are highly professional and are renowned for attending to the needs of all type of buildings, providing heritage construction works. We strive on making sure that we do a top quality job at all times when raking out old mortar and repointing it again, when we do an acid wash for efflorescence, and when we work with lime mortar for both the inside and outside of your building.

We are very dedicated specialists in heritage construction works with over 20 years experience, providing expert arch repair, rebuilding and reporting services for both stone and brick arches. By understanding the craft and what’s required, we can give an arch a new lease of life. whether it requires repairs to the stone and brickwork or a good clean out, we can guarantee you a professiona top quality end result with each task we complete. While we ensure that your building is given the necessary services it requires, we will always make sure we retain the character and beauty of each building.

Digger works - We provide our own diggers, so you don't have to worry about getting foundations etc dug out before we arrive on the job, we can look after all that for you, also including digging out for entrance walls, digging out for driveways before laying a new one, we can dig out a foundation for kerbing and paving, for footpaths or any other job that needs to be dug out before construction can be done on it, big or small SK Stoneworks and Restorations can do it all.
