Hedge Cutting and Tree Care Information:

Hedge cutting - Annually your hedges should be cut back from the beginning of May till late september and they should be cut every 5 to 6 weeks between these months, more often sometimes depending on the type of hedge that has to be cut.

If need your hedge cut right or other garden maintenance needed done, look no further, Chris Gardening Treecare can do it all, giving you a top quality finish everytime.

Felling - involves cutting a standing tree and dropping it in the place you want it. Limbing is the removal of the branches from either standing or downed trees. Bucking is the process of cutting a downed tree into appropriate lengths.

Pruning - begins at planting time. At planting i will remove only diseased, dead or broken branches. I will begin training a plant during the dormant season following planting, then prune to shape young trees, but I won't cut back the leader. Finally I will remove crossing branches and branches that grow back towards the center of the tree.

Tree topping - Topping trees can be very handy in a situation in which a tree has undergone very severe damage from heavy winds etc, also if your tree or trees have grown too high, blocking sunlight to your neighbours home or your own home, unfortunately it will then have to be topped. Chris Gardening Treecare will look after this for you and do all we can to make sure your tree is kept in as good health as it possibly can.

Tree crown reduction - I will do tree crown reduction to reduce mechanical stress on individual branches or the whole tree, make the tree more suited to its immediate environment or to reduce the effects of shading and light loss, etc.

Tree surgeon - A tree surgeon is an expert that uses their knowledge and skills for the maintenance, cutting and taking away of trees. A tree surgeon is often involved in all stages of a tree’s existence from planting to maintenance and then its removal.

How a tree survives - Like any other plant, trees need sun, water and nutrients for survival. There are three main parts to a tree: the roots, the trunk and the crown (branches and leaves), and each plays a part in helping the tree use the sun, water and nutrients. The roots absorb water and nutrients from the soil

Garden Maintenance & Landscaping Information:

Lawn Cutting - I recommend to have your lawn cut at least once a week in the summer months when the weather is alot warmer and much drier and once every two weeks during spring season. For autumn and winter you would get it cut alot less ofter as the weather is much wetter, but if we get a drier autumn and winter, it could be cut at least once a month. Regular trimming of your garden encourages the roots to spread, Chris Gardening Treecare will keep your garden in top shape, so you can sit out relax and enjoy the weather.

Garden rotavated - Chris Gardening Treecare will rotavate your garden to improve drainage within your garden, vegetable patch or allotment, encouraging plants or vegetables to grow alot quicker and better. It will also help to cultivate borders, beds and narrow vegetable rows.

Planting - Plants need air, light, warmth, water and nutrients to be healthy. If a plant doesn't have one of these requirements it could affect its growth or even die. It might sound simple, but is harder then it sounds to have your plants maturing to a form of beauty. I can look after all your plants to make sure they get all the proper nutrients to survive and grow properly.

Fencing - I can provide you with an excellent affordable fencing service and can guarantee a high standard finish. I will work with you within your budget to suit your needs. Whatever type of fencing you would like done, I will always give the highest quality workmanship on every job I complete each and everytime.

Powerwashing - I will clean any exterior surface that has dirt, grease, plant residue or other material across a large surface area by powerwashing them, which includes driveways, patios, roofs, gutters, walls, garden furniture etc. They can all be cleaned from me powerwashing them. I will have the exterior of your home looking like new again aswel as all your outdoor appliances.

Landscaping - Does the inside of your home look beautiful, but the outside area looks very poor, Chris GardeningTreecare can fix that for you. I can look after all your Landscaping needs which includes laying your patios, repairing your driveway and cracked walls, laying chippings, mulching and bark, new lawns, fencing, Flagging, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, powerwashing and much more.
